The Real Estate Market Is Still Going Strong
Although it’s impossible to predict what the future holds, our team is still helping clients reach their real estate goals. Have questions about the state of the market? Here are all the answers you’ve been looking for.
Is your team still helping clients buy and sell homes?

This is an easy question—yes! Our entire team has been helping clients throughout the current global health crisis, and it’s still possible to make a move during these unprecedented times.
To ensure the safety of our clients and our team, we’ve taken a few extra steps to prevent the spread of germs. We’re currently complying with all CDC guidelines, as well as mandates issued by Governor Cooper. As North Carolina begins to reopen in the coming weeks, we will assess the situation and adjust our practices accordingly.
Are there still homes for sale?

Believe it or not, now is still a great time to buy your next home—new listings are hitting the market every day! In fact, our team has dozens of homes for sale throughout Clayton, and there’s something to fit every budget. Be sure to check out our featured listings, and let us know if you’re ready to schedule a tour.
If you’d rather explore homes from the comfort of your couch, many of our featured listings offer in-depth virtual tours. Our agents can even schedule a video showing of your favorite houses through platforms like FaceTime and Zoom!
How’s the market right now?

It’s hard to predict the longterm impact that COVID-19 will have on the real estate market. However, both economists and agents are remaining optimistic as we adjust to a new normal. According to a study from Zillow, new listings in the Raleigh area are down by about 19%, which is significantly better than the national average of 37%.
Home prices are also remaining steady, which signals that we’re probably not headed towards a housing market crash. In fact, a different study from Zillow predicts that the national housing market will see a full rebound as early as 2021.
